Advantage Engineers is hiring a Vice President of Sales & Marketing to lead sales and business development efforts in our next phase of growth. Reporting directly to the COO and driving our revenue, this position will have a significant impact on the future of Advantage Engineers. We provide innovative solutions for complex telecommunications, environmental, and geotechnical engineering challenges. Our firm is comprised of more than 200 engineering, project management, site acquisition, geological, scientific, environmental, hydrogeological, and technical professionals. From our Mid-Atlantic offices, we provide services to government agencies and private clients throughout the United States This new member of the executive team will help realize Advantage Engineers' vision for growth and expansion. What you'll do: Serve as a key and active member of the senior management team, overseeing, leading, guiding and directing all activities of the Global Sales & Marketing Department. Ensure the effective fulfillment of objectives and exercise the agility to move swiftly in relation to marketing related problems/opportunities. Provide input to all strategic service roadmaps and all new service development projects. Develop and execute corresponding sales and marketing plans for Advantage Engineers' service lines. Lead the process for continuous evaluation of trends in the marketplace, including the process of obtaining and disseminating competitive intelligence across all markets and service lines. Develop and implement effective pricing strategies; establish the measurement of marketing program effectiveness. Select, implement, manage, and optimize a CRM system. Build sales and marketing team; develop strategy for department centered around: business goals, company branding, sales support functions, and departmental effectiveness metrics. Sales Manager, Sales Director, Director of Sales, National Sales Manager, Director of Business Development, Regional Sales Director, International Sales Director, Marketing Manager, Executive Sales Director, Vice President of Sales You should have: BA/BS Undergraduate degree in Marketing, Business or related field 7+ years' of recent and relevant sales & marketing experience within the professional services, engineering, or construction. 5+ years in a leadership position. Experience in strategic planning and collaboration with executive, sales, marketing, product development and key operational groups. Proven record of leadership and managing a sales organization with global responsibility and establishing long term strategic growth initiatives. Strong analytical skills and is able to assist in identifying and providing solutions to complex operational issues. Ability to create clear action plans. A demonstrated record of accomplishments in developing successful marketing/sales programs and new product introductions. Proven ability to deliver results through others, both direct and matrixed.
