H&S Bakery seeks an Industrial Control Technician for the Maintenance Department. This position will report to the Senior Control Technician and teh official shift after initial training will be night shift consisting of 50 hours per week, non union, salary position. This is an exciting opportunity and hands-on position to you will work in an industrial environment working with the manufacturing equipment and the physical plant. Your duties will include investigating and resolving all control systems maintenance issues. This would include: troubleshooting of control panels and associated components, motor circuits, control loops, controls configuration, controls communications networks, and controls programming. Primary Job Duties: Controls experience in RSLogix5000/Studio5000 (Ladder logic), RSLogix500 (Ladder logic), FactoryTalk View Studio ME.Have knowledge of VFDs; their use and configuration.Able to keep controls equipment operational by following manufacturer's instructions and established procedures; request repair service as needed.Knowledge of how to inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair.Eager to solicit observations from plant personnel to assist in troubleshooting and/or improvement efforts.Knowledge to direct others in the methods to diagnose malfunctioning systems and components using test equipment and hand tools to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem. Able to follow industrial electrical diagrams as part of diagnostic efforts.Able to evaluate electrical systems, products, components, and applications by designing and conducting diagnostics.Willing to perform business management duties such as maintaining records and files, preparing reports and ordering supplies and equipment.Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops as assigned.Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.Ensures the work areas are cleaned and organized during assigned shiftProficiency with PLC software and hardware is essential to job performance. Adeptness with RSLogix 5000, Studio 5000, RSLogix 500 Rockwell applications is required.Lead training, troubleshooting, and repair/ adjustment of mechanical and electrical control systems.Safety: o Responsible for electrical safety in all plant areas. o Perform Electrical safety training of Mechanics o Monitor all employees GMP performance.Sanitiation o Ensure proper GMPs are followed at all times by all employees o Monitor cleanliness of all electrical panles/boxes o Monitor employees/contractors for sanitary work Essential Job Functions/Requirements Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience as a Mechanical or Electrical Technician in an industrial environment. Education: Associates Degree in Electronic Technology or related field preferred. Performance of other duties deemed by management to be an integral part of the job.Able to troubleshoot servo drive systems.Able to repair or replace wiring and equipment using hand tools and power tools.Able to fabricate and install brackets, using hand tools and specificationsAble to mount electrical enclosures.Able to assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring using hand tools and power tools.Able to connect wires to termination points.Can use testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes to test electrical systems and continuity of circuits and to ensure compatibility and safety of system.Can perform instrument calibrations per standards and per customer requirements and request
