A Management Analyst job in Washington DC is currently available at Belcan at one of our government clients. This job is a full-time direct position with benefits. To be considered for this role, you will need a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree and experience in conducting public health-related studies, collecting and analyzing data, developing predictive models. The Management Analyst will support a series of four concurrent Medical Countermeasure (MCM) studies on treatments for specified chemical and radiological threats, and provide to the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Office of Policy and Planning, four integrated capabilities documents chapters and annexes, consistent with approved templates. Responsibilities: Management Analyst job duties:Help plan and administer stakeholder and subject matter expert workshops, to include preparation of all materials required for the conduct of the meetings.Gather data through SME elicitation and through literature review.Develop a predictive model of MCM delivery capacity.Draft a narrative summarizing the model's predictive results.Conduct/participate in expert engagement. Bachelor's Degree is desired, although equivalent experience will be considered. There is no minimum required years of experience. The focus instead is on breadth of experience and on demonstrated expertise in the desired skills listed below.Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.Scientific and clinical literature interpretation, analysis, and assessment.Excellent writing and grammatical expertise.Strategic engagement: workshop planning and coordination.Project management and organization.Mathematics (some skill or intuition for model development) and mathematical translation. Desired experiences and skills include: Emergency medical services and definitive care.Mass casualty response.Disaster planning and management paradigms (Local, State, Federal).Effects of and treatments for chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear threats, emerging infectious diseases, conventional explosives.Epidemiology, public health, or related scientific background/ education.Administration of pharmaceutical countermeasures, diagnostics, vaccines, medications, equipment, etc.Science-based policy and planning: using or developing objective approaches to literature research, evaluation, and translation into clear and concise policy recommendations, rationale, and plans.Expertise in project management, coordination, and workshop planning and execution.
