A company out of Lewisberry, PA has a number of positions in their Automotive Electronics and Diesel re-manufacturing facility. Positions are as follows:Parts Changer - The Parts Changer will work in the Electronics Department. This is mostly a sit-down job, but may require standing, bending light lifting and moving throughout the facility. Majority of the job will involve removing parts and replacing parts on electronic circuit boards for automobile electronic parts.Electronics Assemblers/Testers - The Assembler/Tester will work at a production station and will mostly sit throughout the shift. They will perform basic assembly of Electronics for Automobiles and will also perform functionality tests and hot/cold tests. Attention to detail and ability to follow directions and work orders are key.Boxing/Shipping - In boxing/shipping candidates will box and pack parts for shipping to clients. They must follow work instructions as to how many parts can go in a box, how to pack them and how many boxes can go on each pallet.Core Prep - The core prep department is a general labor position where the candidate will be on their feet for the entire shift. The contractor will use a variety of tools and processes to clean the automotive electronics parts to prepare them to be re-manufactured. This is a dirty and more labor intensive job.Diesel - The diesel department is upstairs at Flight Systems. This is where they assemble and disassemble diesel pistons and other diesel vehicle parts. They will use torque wrenches, hand tools and air tools to perform the assembly and dis-assembly process. This position requires standing the entire shift, mechanical aptitude and the department does have a smell that comes from the diesel injectors.Positions vary on 1st and 2nd shift.1st shift is M-F 7am-3:30pm2nd shift is 3:30pm-12 midnightAbout Aerotek: Our people are everything.
