You will be responsible for processing of electronic data files such as securities trade transactions records, account holdings etc. using proprietary technology platforms. The Specialist will be responsible for handling the intake, processing and ingestion of electronic data received from member firms, detailing and escalating issues as they are encountered. The specialists will collaborate with other team members to ensure timely delivery and quality of all project deliverables. They will work closely with the engineering team to ensure adherence to business requirements and stakeholders' needs. The specialist will be responsible for communicating to both technical and non-technical audiences verbally and in writing about the nature of work performed and the issues encountered. The specialist is expected to maintain working knowledge of the regulatory lifecycle of electronic data.Excel, Excel, Excel! MUST HAVE!Job requirements: *Proficient in usage of Excel to manipulate large data sets *Ability to identify patterns in data sets and select the appropriate processing method*Ability to conduct root cause analysis on issues *Ability to conceptualize and think creatively to resolve processing issues*Knowledge of Brokerage Back Office operations is a plus*Knowledge of Asset Types and Financial Products (Fixed Income, Equity, etc..) is a plus*Good verbal and written communication skills are essential*High energy, ownership of the responsibility, and pride in the accuracy and timeliness of the work products*Proficiency in Microsoft Word Candidates should be able to self-organize and be flexible with respect to working hours to meet deadlines. Multi-tasking abilities are required. Experience: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration or equivalent. Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a corporate environment with emphasis in the Customer Service domain.
