This role supports the corporate HR / compensation function in the design, development, implementation, compliance, administration and communication of global companywide compensation programs. The role focus is on providing analytical and consultative support to the HR Business Partners and companywide management, with lead responsibility for the annual merit and bonus cycle and sales incentive plan. Compensation program support includes base pay, annual bonus, sales incentives, equity awards, employee recognition and other rewards in a SOX environment. Key role component is on using excel or other analytical tools for advanced modeling and analysis. Critical Responsibilities: Provide guidance, consultation and education to HR Business Partners to solve compensation-related business problems and provide compensation guidance (eg, internal and external equity issues, benchmark new jobs, challenging offers, department reorganizations) Own the end-to-end quarterly sales incentive plan calculation, committee approval, accrual and payment processes. Partner with sales operations, revenue assurance, finance and sales management to drive operational excellence, accuracy, timeliness, and consistency in a compliant manner Provide analytical reporting on effectiveness of sales compensation, and make suggestions to better align compensation plan with business metrics Lead the annual merit and bonus cycle to include system enhancements and setup, testing and training; ensure the accuracy of the Oracle Compensation Workbench tool calculations and guidelines used for management recommendations Develop annual merit and bonus guidelines to deliver approved budgets in accordance with compensation policies; guidelines include merit matrices, incentive plan multipliers and salary structures Develop annual accrual models for incentive plans to reflect plan design and budget changes; prepare monthly accruals for finance Help administer the company's equity plans (including off-cycle and annual grants, exercises, forfeitures, etc.) ensuring that all transactions are accurately processed in a SOX-compliant and timely manner; partner closely with payroll, accounting, finance, legal and tax to ensure seamless administration and compliance Create and maintain databases/tools that summarize, analyze and report key compensation metrics Provide analytical support for broader HR initiatives, as assigned Seek opportunities to improve processes, policies and service levels across the HR function Collaborate with HR team members on special cross functional projects as assigned Important Responsibilities: Prepare models to determine financial impact of program changes Recommend plan and policy changes to align with changing business needs and compensation philosophy Knowledge, Skill and Abilities to be considered for the role: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Economics, or other business related field Five years of professional experience in compensation related role with minimum one year performing analytical work Experience in sales compensation, sales operations or role supporting the sales function Experience with equity plan compensation strongly preferred Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel Deep interest in analyzing data and ability to see beyond the numbers to cultivate a culture to attract, engage and retain top talent Excellent analytical skills and detail orientation with ability to detect inconsistencies in data Demonstrated track record of handling sensitive information with discretion Must be able to handle multiple projects / tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines CCP designation a plus Core Competencies: Enterprise Leadership Customer Focus Collaboration Champion This position requires ITAR access; all candidates must be US Citizens or Permanent Residents.
