The SVP/VP, Sales & Data Analytics will work with a team of client-facing analysts and sales executives globally who are responsible for demonstrating through analysis the value of the products and services that our supplier network delivers. The SVP/VP leads the team in developing deep and relevant insights on assessing, visualizing and communicating the return on the client's investment in Cvent's marketing services, and where appropriate and necessary will take the lead in explaining and justifying the results. What You Will Be Doing: Work closely with the client-facing teams, including sales and account management, to provide coordinated communication of this company's value through analytics. Build close, collaborate relationships with those teams to ensure success. Lead the Hospitality Cloud Insights & Analytics team in providing intelligence and insights that inform strategy and inspire solutions Engage in calls and face to face meetings with brands, chains, management companies, ownership groups and properties to share analytical insights for their respective portfolio Develop insights and strategies from data pulled through analytics tools, digital analytics tools, primary & secondary market research and business analysis and competitive data; translate consumer insights into reports and strategic plans Manage multiple people and projects across a variety of hospitality chains and brands liaising with account leads and clients and using the HC network to bolster expertise and deliver exceptional results Develop and manage the planning, scheduling, and monitoring processes for Account Analytics work Train, teach and guide the Insights & Analytics team, as well as sales & marketing teams Oversee the quality and accuracy of the Insights & Analytics team's work Serve as the champion of trends and intelligence accompanied by actionable insights and tactical recommendations. Manage projects directly with clients and represent Cvent in new business pitches Package and communicate research findings, insights and strategic recommendations - written and verbal - in a clear, concise, and compelling way. Contribute to Cvent thought leadership around product creativity and innovation Represent Cvent as an expert at industry events and participate in the insights & analytics speaker circuit What You Need for this Position Hotel background required with above property experience ideally managing a global portfolio Experience with sales, revenue management and analytics Commercial operational excellence in an analytical discipline 10+ years of proven progressive leadership experience in a creative data strategy related segment 10+ years managing direct reports 10+ years of experience in customer-facing analysis of performance data and predictive analytics Outstanding analytical and visualization skills, proficient at evaluating, justifying and communicating performance insights to customers Deep experience with online advertising business and analytical performance data Preferred experience with analytical techniques such as lifetime value, consumer profile evaluation, cost of sale etc. Experience with sales goals targets and delighting clients Must be able to travel both domestically and internationally depending on proximity to clients; Cvent expects significant time to be spent on-site with clients, tradeshows and conferences.
