We are seeking a talented Internal Auditor at our Corporate Headquarters in Hunt Valley, MD. This position is responsible for performing financial and operational audits for Dunbar Armored, Inc. and related companies. This position will report to the Manager of Internal Audit. This job description is not intended to be all inclusive as there may be other related duties as required to meet the ongoing needs of Dunbar Armored Inc. and related companies.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:* Evaluate and review compliance with policies and procedures, and examine systems in place at the remote facilities.* Evaluate the reliability and integrity of information and the efficient and effective use of resources at these facilities.* Report results and make recommendations to senior management for the corrections, improvements and reductions in costs, including revisions to current policies and procedures.* Follow up on the progress of implementation of recommendations and directions to senior management as a result of the reports.* Update internal controls documentation and perform annual testing of key financial controls. A strong knowledge of accounting internal control concepts is a plus.* Incorporate training, continuous improvement and accountability into the management of the facilities.* Work on special Internal Audit Projects as assigned.* Willingness to travel up to 25% to the remote facilities to perform vault inventory audits and procedural reviews.Job Requirements:* Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Auditing preferred, with a CPA or CIA a plus.* 2+ years' experience in accounting and auditing roles. SOX 404 experience a plus.* Excellent personal computer skills including the ability to use Word, Excel, and Outlook is a must.
