A Program Analyst will support an audit team of a Department of Defense (DoD) Agency in achieving the goals of DoD's Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) initiative. The Program Analyst will assist the client and team members in researching and analyzing DoD audit readiness guidance, developing plans to implement audit corrective action plans, updating Agency policies related to audit and the Managers Internal Control Program, and periodically summarizing the status of actions. The Program Analyst will: track actions using an integrated master schedule, ensure tasks are properly assigned, identify tasks that are behind schedule, and prepare status reports for the audit team and senior leaders. Demonstrated proficiency in using all Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint and Word. Experience with Visio and Project is a plus. Understanding of DoD's challenges and requirements to meet the goals and objectives of DoD's Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) initiative. Familiarity with DoD systems and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platforms used for Funds Control, Budget Execution, and reports to Treasury. Experience with DAI a plus. Familiarity with the Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS) and the ability to research and reconcile accounting transactions and reports. Familiarity with OMB Circular A-123 and DoD's Managers' Internal Control Program. Understanding of Service Level Agreements. Required Experience Must have a Secret security clearance 2-5 years finance, accounting, audit experience within the Federal Government. 3 years in supporting a DoD organization in financial management, including accounting and audit readiness. BA/BS degree (Other education, commensurate experience and demonstrated ability of individual may be substituted.)
