Title: Relationship Data Administrator Basic Function: Provide specialized credit support to Relationship Managers and uphold strict data integrity standards for credit requests. Nature and Scope: * Work directly with Relationship Managers to accurately prepare credit requests. * Partner with the Relationship Liaison team. * Incumbents must possess the ability to initiate independent action, using skill and judgment in identifying and resolving problems and anticipating customer needs. Position Responsibilities: * Partner with the Relationship Liaison and the Commercial Relationship Management teams in delivery of specialized credit support. * Create and manage the ERM profiles. * Prepare CLAS requests for new and modified facilities, including, but not limited to covenant waivers, service charge reversals, collateral releases, etc. Monitor requests through the approval stage. * Update customer and relationship data in ERM and CLAS as deals evolve. Ensure that updates are shared with partners that will be involved in closing the loan to ensure that the final credit memo matches the CLAS request. * Maintain signed monthly CLAS audit reports with detailed notes regarding the status of approved requests that have not been moved to completion. * Schedule Deal Team meetings. * Enter Real Estate Loan Manager (RELM) updates on a quarterly basis, as appropriate. * Review monthly Proforma and preview reports and complete Proforma extensions as needed. * Manage the financial statement collection process in partnership with the Relationship Liaison Team and the Commercial Relationship Management Team. * Responsible for ordering appraisals, environmentals, and flood certifications using the established procedure. Follow up as necessary to ensure completion and proper internal reviews have been received. * Request and monitor site inspections for completion (reported on the KRI Report). * Transfer accounts to special assets at the request of the Relationship Manager/Group Manager. * Support ad hoc data collection requests. * Support any credit review process upon request. * Stay current on credit system requirements and changes. * Serve as an ambassador for the Commercial Service Team and M&T Bank by developing and maintaining strong internal and external partnerships. * Adhere to applicable compliance/operational risk controls in accordance with Company or regulatory standards and policies. * Promote an environment that supports diversity and reflects the M&T Bank brand. * Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable. * Complete other related duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Required: * Associate's degree and minimum of 3 years customer service experience (2 of which should be related banking experience in commercial, business banking, operations, retail, credit, or another lending environment). * Or in lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 5 years higher education and/or work experience including a minimum of 3 years customer service experience (2 of which should be related banking experience in commercial, business banking, operations, retail, credit, or another lending environment). * Ability to travel to perform work duties and for training and special projects. * Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. * Knowledge of bank policies, procedures, and banking regulations are required. * Knowledge of financial statements and loan documentation. * Excellent internal and external customer service skills with the ability to use tact and diplomacy. * Ability to work as a team member with internal business partners.
