Works with business representatives, analysts, and team members to design, enhance, and develop the user experience and user interface of our applications. WORK SCHEDULEHours may vary, but are generally 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. Schedules are determined by the supervisor. Overtime may be required. There may be periods of "on-call" duty. Responsibilities: ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: Other duties may be assigned Remains cognizant of and adheres to credit union policies and procedures, and regulations pertaining to the Bank Secrecy Act.Utilize established development tools, guidelines and conventions including, but not limited to, Visual Studio, ASP.NET, SQL Server, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and VB.NETWorks with business representatives, analysts, and team members to design, enhance and develop the user experience and user interface of our applications.Creates and delivers data-driven reportsDesigns, codes and tests new Windows and web software applicationsEnhances existing systems by analyzing business objectives, preparing an action plan and identifying areas for modification and improvementMaintains existing software systems by identifying and correcting software defectsProvides effective technology support for applications that were developed internally and applications that are highly integrated by internal programming. Investigates and develops skills in new technologiesCreates technical specifications and test plansCreates new and extend existing program design and operational documentation to optimize support resources.Consults closely with business systems analyst related to projects and tasksConsults colleagues concerning maintenance and performance of software systemsFollows change management and version control system/processes.Achieves department metrics and goals, living the NASA Federal Core values and ensures the realization of BHAG.Stabilizes, Standardizes, and Simplifies (S3) technology infrastructure and applications to optimize support resources.Promotes new uses of information technology within the institution through the support of exploratory and innovative applications.Projects a positive image of the department in all interactions with other departments. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Level 1: One to three years of experience required. Associates degree in computer related studies or the equivalent in education and work experience.Level II: Two to four years of experience required. Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university in Computer Science or related discipline or the equivalent in education and work experience.Level III: Three to five years of experience required.
