An Administrative Support Specialist job in Washington, DC is currently available at Belcan. This job is a full-time direct position with benefits. To be considered for this role, you will need a Secret Clearance and a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or a related business discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training or work experience. The daily responsibilities of the Administrative Support Specialist will include Program Management Office (PMO) administrative support on the Vanguard 2.2.2 contract at the Department of State. The ideal candidate will have excellent task management, tracking, and organizational skills. This position will support multiple program managers responsible for over 125 employees and will require daily interaction with the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) to proactively manage administrative actions. Responsibilities: Administrative Support Specialist job duties:Provides PMO with administrative support and contract related reporting.Supports corporate HR and Facility Security Officer with onboarding and off-boarding activities of contract personnel.Maintains persistent tracking and follow-up of all administrative actions that require the action or attention of the COR.Produces weekly status updates to PMO of administrative and reporting activities.Updates and maintains SOP documentation, staffing and email distribution lists. Tracks government furnished equipment issued to contract personnel.Coordinates quarterly appreciation lunches for multiple teams.Other duties as assigned. Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent work experienceOne to three years of experience in a professional environmentStrong organizational skills with the ability to balance and proactively manage multiple activitiesProficiency with Microsoft Office tools such as Outlook, Word and Excel Due to the nature of our work US Citizenship and a Secret Clearance is required Desired experiences and skills include:Prior or current Department of State experience is a plus BGS seeks to fill this position with an exceptionally talented and self-motivated individual.
