Position: Technical Lead (Windows Lead) Duration: Direct Hire Location: Washington DC (Chinatown) Clearance: Must be able to obtain a DHS Public Trust (3-6 weeks to process. *cannot have delinquent federal debt*) Seeking a Technical Lead to configure, maintain, and administer a Java-based COTS product (Kronos Workforce TeleStaff and Workforce Central). This candidate will provide technical direction, system administration, and serve as the main technical point of contact for all aspects of the application and related touchpoints. This position is in support of a new program for a component of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) servicing more than 1,400 users, whose vital mission to protect the security of our nation and its people. The successful candidate will be instrumental in configuring Windows web servers, assisting vendor with installing and configuring the platform, and administering/troubleshooting routine server, database, and application issues. Responsibilities: The Technical Lead candidate will serve as the main technical point of contact between the contract and government on an agile delivery team, with responsibilities that include: Assist in the implementation of the upcoming Workforce Central project, as the main technical integrator working with vendor and customer to establish, configure, and operate Workforce Central as a data interchange and transformation engine between existing systems Establish Client-Certificate SSO on iPhones (currently functional on Windows Phones via Custom IIS Module) Administer currently operational Dev/Test/Prod/DR web farms consisting of approximately 20 web servers running both IIS and Tomcat Assist with the maintenance, troubleshooting, and operation of dev/test/prod MS SQL environment (SQL2012, currently in process of upgrading to SQL2016) Working with agile development team on ad-hoc requests and routine administration/maintenance of servers Analyze and resolve application, network, and server issues in support of this system Be the main point of contact for diagrams, security documentation, disaster planning, etc in the as it pertains to recently-achieved DHS ATO (Authority to Operate) Develop new (and modify existing as needed) SSRS reports used for manpower, quality of life, and payroll purposes Assist in data transformation and interchange for both ad-hoc and ongoing import/exports with a variety of systems Provide other lightweight documentation as needed Requirements: 10+ years' experience with Windows Server/IIS/Tomcat configuration and administration T-SQL, preferably against MS SQL Network and security protocols/best practices Backup/Recovery and Disaster Recovery planning and execution Collaborating in an agile team environment working with database administrators, business analysts, test engineers, etc. SSRS Report Writing (including underlying SQL), using Visual Studio or ReportBuilder Differentiators: Experience with SSO/PIV integration (especially on iOS) a major plus Prophecy/Avaya IVR Exposure a major plus Experience with custom IIS HttpModules a major plus MS SQL Database Administration (troubleshooting and management) a major plus Java or .Net-based web application experience (development and/or administration) a major plus Informatica PowerCenter experience a plus Microsoft Team Foundation Server and Visual Studio (or equivalent tools) If you're interested, please send resumes to [Click Here to Email Your Resume].
