The Sr. Configuration Engineer shall have at least 11 years professional experience in configuring, securing, monitoring, managing, testing, and automating the provisioning of resources. The incumbent shall have extensive experience to analyze customers' needs, design a quality proposal, and develop the solution. The incumbent will ensure hardware and software compatibility, and coordinate requirements to project the necessary capacity and proper configuration. The incumbent will develop detailed documentation describing the desired state of all resources and how they will be provisioned, including operating instructions. They will revise existing systems and procedures to correct deficiencies. The incumbent will be able to work productively with other team members, product owners, and management to support the needs of the project. The incumbent will possess excellent written and spoken communication skills; perform technical documentation, user documentation, and customer presentations as required. Job Activities: Provide analysis and recommendations of current configurations Design and develop solutions to satisfy technical and business requirements of the client Contribute to the analysis and development of the final product Adhere to the client's standards, security standards, industry standards, and best practices Provide tests for all components created Schedule meetings to review all changes made Work closely with the development team and management Apply advanced technical principles, techniques, theories and concepts Support management and customers in answering questions on advanced technical research studies and applications Present designs and implementations to internal and external audiences Prepare weekly status reports of accomplished tasks Occasional travel may be required Skills Requirements: ​ Required skills Full stack administration abilities; version control, testing, web servers, databases, CI, configuration management 5+ years of Continuous Integration administration; Jenkins or similar 5+ years of Version Control Administration; Git, Bitbucket or similar 5+ years of configuration management and automation; Ansible or similar 5+ years of web server configuration; IIS, Apache, NGINX or similar 3+ years of testing frameworks; Selenium Windows and Linux operating systems Adoption of proven methodologies and best practices Additional Desired skills Virtualization; AWS Configuration and automation or similar Monitoring tools Technical Leadership Ability to adapt to changes and learn new things Education: ​Bachelors Degree + 11 yearsFull Stack
