Accountant II, Payroll
Summary The primary purpose of this job is to participate in the payroll administration for the organization, in accordance with the federally regulated procedures and guidelines. Assist managers in the Payroll department with development of new procedures, to create an efficient process compliant with all related regulations, policies and procedures. Participate in all facets of the daily operations of the Payroll department, ensuring the accurate completion of all section duties within established time parameters and in accordance with all related regulations; policies and procedures; and state and federal laws.
Oversee, monitor, and quality control the data entry of all payroll records.
Contribute to the development, adjustment, and/or enhance payroll systems and procedures, maintain knowledge of changes in tax laws, regulations, and institutional pay policies/compensation initiatives.
Plan and coordinate the production and distribution of all employee tax statements and notifications as required by law.
Assist NCUA Examiners, external and internal Auditors during periodic examinations and audits.

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or a related filed is preferred.
Two (2) or more years’ experience in payroll administration
PeopleSoft experience preferred.
