Booz Allen partners with public and private sector clients to solve their most difficult challenges through a combination of consulting, analytics, mission operations, technology, systems delivery, cybersecurity, engineering and innovation expertise.Protocol Specialist, MidKey Role:Plan, coordinate, and execute high-level military, civilian, foreign, and domestic visits or functions, ceremonies, and special events hosted by senior-level leadership. Plan and implement protocol for casual to formal social events. Determine requirements to support events, including the sequence of events, guest lists, venue setup, receiving lines, flag display, seating arrangements, VIP courtesies, invitations, and RSVPs and plan and implement special events. Analyze the development and implementation of protocol policy. Review the program continually to recommend changes and updates for refinement and improvement. Respond to requests for advice or assistance with all matters or activities pertaining to proper protocol procedures. Provide both formal and informal briefings to groups and individuals to promote a positive and informative understanding of protocol issues.Basic Qualifications:-7 years of experience with government clients in a professional work environment-Experience with planning all event facets, including using formal protocol procedures and order of precedence-Experience in communicating with diverse audience-Active TS/SCI clearance-HS diploma or GED and 9 years of experience with government clients in a professional work environment or BA or BS degreeAdditional Qualifications:-7 years of experience with planning and implementing events and functions for senior personnel involving foreign dignitaries, diplomats, foreign military personnel, and legislative and government officials-Knowledge of project and program management-BA or BS degree in Communications, International Relations, Government, or Public Relations-Completion of formal protocol, event management, or project management training, including the Protocol School of Washington or the George Washington University Event Management Program preferredClearance:Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
