Executive Director - Regional Database Marketing (Corporate Regional, Maryland)
Grade: The Executive Director of Regional Database marketing leads the regional database marketing team and plans/develops database marketing programs. The position will oversee and participate in the daily operation of direct mail and email marketing. Efficient campaigns will be developed using segmentation, reinvestment and test-and-learn best practices. All duties are to be performed in accordance with property and MGM Resorts International policies, practices and procedures. Leads the regional Database Marketing team to target customers to generate visitation.Leverages best practices and implement enterprise-wide M life Rewards strategies and initiatives at the Regional properties.Directs the Database Marketing team to include efficient staffing, employee development and training, performance management and policy enforcement. Establishes and communicates priorities, set performance objectives, provide direction and hold staff accountable to commitments.Develops direct mail campaigns via direct mail, email and other database marketing initiatives in concert with the VP of Casino Marketing and/or SVP Casino Marketing.Develops FreePlay and Table Play Amounts by market segment.Partners with Advanced Analytics to implement marketing best practicesEmploys creative and cutting edge marketing techniques ie, bundling non-gaming and gaming offers with critical input and knowledge of the VP of Casino Marketing to achieve maximum profitability, across all marketing channels.Constantly monitors top competitor direct marketing campaigns and strategies to ensure best market positioning and capture of market share.Ensures that campaigns are executed accurately and consistently within brand standards.Participates in a corporate committee that enforces governance of database rules and compliance.Liaises with the Corporate Enterprise Database Management team to ensure consistent alignment with key database marketing initiatives and priorities.Consistently meets and engages with the property President, CFO and Marketing VPs to evaluate campaigns and provide analytics and business intelligence to improve operations.Promotes and maintains the highest level of customer service to all guests while staying alert to their needs and responding effectively to guest inquiries.Other job related duties as requested.Required:Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration or other related field.Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in database analysis including at least four (4) years leading database analysis function or team.Preferred:Previous experience working in similar resort settingGaming experience strongly preferred.Masters of Business Administration preferred.
