Production Team Member (Layout and Design)
Job DescriptionJob DescriptionProduction Team Members work directly with the top real estate brokers, agents and their assistants to help prepare print marketing materials, guiding and facilitating the process from collection of text/images, through page design and layout, to final printing on in-house digital press. Qualified candidates must possess strong written and verbal communications skills and will be equally comfortable providing top-notch customer service to clients and working with page layout software to prepare beautifully-designed print brochures, direct mail cards and flyers. Ability to manage multiple projects and maintain tight deadlines is a must. Be a part of a fast-paced, high-energy work environment, working closely alongside other Team Members.Essential Job Functions:Generate proofs for brochure/flyer/cards using Quark Xpress design programEdit images using Adobe PhotoshopCorrecting proofed copies of the documents createdProduce PDF documents and uploading to website for agent to viewAssist agents over the phone if they need assistance in the processFlexibility to work adjusted or longer hours on busy days, as necessaryRequirements:High school diploma requiredBetween 1 and 2 years of relevant experienceAt least 1 year of Quarkxpress/InDesign and PhotoshopExperience on a PC platformOther Skills/Abilities:Ability to work in a high demand industrySuperior attention to detailAbove average computer skillsAbility to meet deadlinesAbility to work well with little supervisionExcellent communication skillsFamiliar with jpg, eps, pdf , cmyk, rgb, and other image formatsResponsible, attentive, personable, courteous, patient, multi-tasker, personally reliableKnowledge of Final Cut is not a requirement, but does add valueIdeal candidates possess strong communication skills.NOTE: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
