Ref ID: 04510-0010056978Classification: Contract AdministratorCompensation: $25.00 to $30.00 per hourLocal hospital is seeking a Contracts Administrator to assist their General Counsel. Responsibilities will include: - Serves as liaison between Contracts Department and other hospital departments and outside vendors as concerning all aspects of the contracting process, to include the initiation, modification, evaluation, renewal, termination and expiration of all contracts. - Actively track and report on department workflow and cultivate/maintain positive relationships with UMC vendors, internal stakeholders, and District of Columbia contacts through effective customer service and clear, concise communication. - Prepares bids and negotiating specifications and contractual provisions. - Negotiate terms and conditions. - Prepare contract change notices, monitor contractor performance, including the reporting and status of contractor and owner deliverables. - Maintain an audit file for each contract which will include original contract, all correspondence, changes/deviations, amendments, clarifications, payment schedules. - Analyze and mitigate risk - Responsible for intake of all types of Hospital Agreements and Contracts submitted for inclusion into the Hospital's Contract Database - Responsible for weekly reporting to Contracts Director on status of all contracts including a. status of new contracts: inception through inclusion into Contract Database b. status of existing contracts: modifications, evaluations, renewals, terminations and expirations - Manage communication with and ensure compliance from internal stakeholders with regard to their timely submission of quarterly evaluations, contract modification request and renewals and ensure all notifications are sent to appropriate personnel well in advance of approaching deadlines. - Prepare, disseminate and follow up on all contract evaluations, renewals, modifications, notices and terminations to final resolution - Assist Contracting Officers with Requests for Proposals and other general contract procedures required - Order and maintain adequate levels of office supplies - Coordinate repairs and office-related services as requested - Serve as department timekeeper - Organize meetings as requested - Serve as liaison between Contracts Department and other departments within the Hospital - Create reports and documents to be submitted to Administration or Board or DC City Council as required with proper formatting ALL CANDIDATES SHOULD APPLY DIRECTLY TO [Click Here to Email Your Resume].EXPERIENCE: 5+ years in healthcare industry with strong office administration experience and relevant contract experience (review, administration, negotiation, drafting) is required EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree is required REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES/SKILLS: Must be MS Office proficient, have database experience and be flexible in adapting to new and changing processes over time.
