The Senior Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) will partner with HR leadership and partners in the business in aligning business objectives with associates and management in designated business units. The incumbent will act as an employee advocate and provide education to all areas of the business on established human resources processes and policies. This position is also responsible for tracking metrics, coordinating and tracking leave requests including FMLA, medical and personal leave, as well as employee terminations and exit interviews.Responsibilities: Administer field/remote staff with leave requests, including FMLA, medical and personal leaves; Support employees and management with system questions, troubleshoot issues, and innovatively find solutions; Participate in employee and management trainings, including focus groups, rollout of new benefits, etc.; Assist with the design plan and implementation of new employee on-boarding/orientation in a way that fosters a positive attitude towards company goals and objectives appropriate; Support the development of organizational talent at all levels by actively participating in the performance review process, talent reviews, and promotions; Educate all sections of the business on established human resources processes and policies, such as interviewing, hiring, promoting, disciplinary actions, timely separations, attendance, etc.; Identify employee communication issues and work with Human Resources leadership and other management to improve; Work with all business partners as an employee advocate to ensure that company practices are consistent with the core company values of building trust, respect and fairness when interacting with all employees; Partner with Senior HRBPs in all segments of the business to improve employee retention through the development and implementation of improved employee relations methods, training and development, and positive recognition programs; Support employees and management with system questions, troubleshoot issues, and innovatively find solutions; Compile various human resources related reports as required; Maintain knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensure policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance; and Coordinate employee terminations, exit interviews, and handle all necessary termination paperwork. Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent experience; Minimum of 5 years experience in resolution of employee relation issues; PHR/SPHR or CP/SCP highly preferred; Project Lead experience in HR competencies; Understanding of FMLA, FLSA, ADA, Regulatory Law; Customer service focused; Previous HRIS experience preferred; Strong interpersonal and conflict resolutions skills; Ability to understand business unit issues and communicate effectively with clients; Be flexible and available to interact with employees at all levels as well as manage multiple conflicting priorities; and Excellent verbal and written communication skills high energy level and self motivated.
