General Summary: Reporting to the Director, Talent Acquisition, the Sr. Health Care Recruiter is responsible for actively sourcing candidates from competitive talent markets for a broad range of positions within the Holy Cross Health system. Responsibilities include full life-cycle recruiting (sourcing, screening, interviewing, providing salary recommendations, checking references, and recommending applicants for employment, etc.) in a high volume environment. Updating the applicant tracking system with all relevant recruitment transactions and employment decisions.Serving as a resource to managers advising them on human resources policies and procedures, employment regulations and the Joint Commission human resources requirements. Participating in the development of recruitment strategies and process improvements to support the recruitment function. Supports the Mission of Trinity Health and Holy Cross Health. Minimum licensure/certification required (if applicable):N/A Minimum Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Required:B.S. in Human Resources, or related field. Professional in Human Resources (PHR)/ Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) preferred. One to three years of experience in full cycle recruiting, preferably in a health care environment. Knowledge in all recruiting components including, but not limited to, sourcing, advertising, qualifying and selecting candidates, negotiating and closing employment offers, networking and relationship management.Must be internet savvy and experienced in mining online databases and have the ability to quickly learn systems, processes and procedures. Experience with Peoplesoft, Position Manager, Work Day, Excel and other Microsoft products highly desirable.
