Management and Program Analyst
The United States Marshals Service is the nation's oldest and most versatile federal law enforcement agency. This position is located in the District of Columbia, United States Marshals Service. The incumbent serves as a Management and Program Analyst responsible for formulating policies for the District Court/Tax Court program budgets; conducting studies of operational functions, delegations of authority, and organizational structures; performing analytical and evaluative work to ensure efficiency, economy, and balance in the development and/or execution phases or operating programs; analyzing existing procedures to identify more effective methods for for accomplishing program objectives; developing/maintaining an accountable property tracking system.

All qualifications requirements for this position must be met within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: To be considered minimally qualified for this GS-13 level position, you must demonstrate that you have at least one year (12 months) the required of full-time specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 level performing all of the following functions:
- Participating in the formulation, coordination, and monitoring of service budgets, spending plans, and supporting financial documentation of financial programs at a department or agency-wide level;
- Evaluating organizational operations for the purpose of performing cost benefit analysis;
- Conducting studies of operational functions, delegations of authority and organizational structure;
- Developing and maintaining an accountable property inventory tracking system.
