The MIL Corporation seeks a Principal Cybersecurity and Information Assurance Specialist to support one of our federal Government client at our St. Inigoes, MD 20684 location. The Principal Cybersecurity and Information Assurance Specialist will become a part of the MIL Cyber Team and responsible for the execution of MIL's cyber strategy and supporting MIL's Federal Government clients. This position is contingent to contract award.

• Support the Federal client by leading a team providing cyber security/information assurance services
• Serve as a functional expert in support of tasking that involves advanced knowledge of Information Assurance policy or technical cybersecurity solutions necessary to ensure the safe operation and/or accreditation of complex systems
• Evaluate the integration of emerging cybersecurity technologies into multiple enterprise systems
• Perform penetration testing, cyber forensics, system security engineering, and integrating identify management solutions
• Develop mitigation strategies to reduce risk for systems with a high cyber-attack risk
• Interface with senior policy and accrediting authorities across various DoD services and Combatant Commands
• Define program plans for obtaining all necessary authorization and connection approvals

Required Qualifications
• BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a relevant technical discipline
• High School diploma and twenty (20) years of experience can be substituted for a BA/BS degree
• Minimum of ten (10) years practical experience and either a broad background in numerous cybersecurity technologies/policy organizations or have deep background in a specific cyber technology such as Cross Domain Solutions, Multi-Level Security (MLS), Host Based Security Systems, Identity Management Solutions, Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems, Public Key Infrastructure, Mobile Device Management, Wireless Security Solutions, Communications Security (COMSEC), Cryptography, or other emerging cyber technology solution
• Meet current DoD 8570.01M training requirements
• IAT II certification

Desired Qualifications
• TS/SCI clearance
• IAT III certification
• 12+ years of practical experience
