Job Description We are seeking a Kitchen Manager For A High Volume Restaurant to join our team! You will directly supervise and coordinate activities of workers engaged in preparing and serving food. Responsibilities: Oversee the daily operation of food service staff Monitor quality of products and services produced Adjust daily schedule for shift personnel to ensure optimal efficiency Manage inventory of ingredients and supplies Maintain health standards for raw and finished products Qualifications: Previous experience in food service or other related fields Knowledge of common food safety practices Strong leadership qualities Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Excellent written and communication skills This position is to work in a high-volume, polished casual dining concept who serves high quality food. The Kitchen Manager is responsible for the overall operations for the back of house and kitchen area of the restaurant. In addition, kitchen managers ensure that the company's standards are upheld. Job Duties: Ensure customers receive exceptional service through timely and accurate preparation of food Willingness to work the line during busy meal periods, if needed Build positive relationships with vendors and internal employees Promote a positive atmosphere for workers of all levels Ensure procedures and policies are adhered to Training, coaching, and corrective action Skills & experience we are looking for: 2-5 years of experience as an KM in an upscale, high volume, upscale casual dining environment.
