Digital Marketing Manager

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION: Responsible for managing marketing, advertising and promotional activities at Hunt A Killer. Taking steps to measure, enhance, and enrich the position and image of the Company through various objectives and branding. Create and implement innovative plans that focus on our current customer demographic, future customer acquisition and new ideas to reach potential untapped market. RESPONSIBILITIES: Effectively creating, planning and managing a budget to execute marketing strategies that gets quantifiable results. This role holds a strong understanding of digital marketing and content strategy to coordinate across a cross-functional team. Execution of digital retention programs that include a mix of web, social media, blogs, and email channels. Works side by side with a Customer Experience Specialist and Marketing Coordinator, ensuring that the marketing team works wells together and produces relevant and creative initiatives. Expand and develop marketing platforms for unique products. Experience building marketing plans for new or new to market products. Manage the productivity of the marketing plans, projects and marketing team. Work with existing vendors and new vendors in a variety of projects and strategies. Monitor, review and report on all marketing activity and results. Quickly changing direction if something is not working and providing measurable results. Work with cofounder to determine and manage the marketing budget. Deliver successful marketing activity within budget. Analyze market trends and recommend changes to marketing and business development strategies based on analysis and feedback. Report return on investment and key performance metrics. Uses our strong social media following, online community of fans/customers to develop solutions based on regular feedback for a range of marketing areas to provide a better customer experience. Ensures branding is consistent. Approves ads or other promotional content. Nurture and enrich all external perceptions of the company and growth of market share. Deepen relationships with media and vendors to ensure the most effective messaging and positioning of the Company . Lead areas of content generation and production across all media platforms. Collaborate with other teams, such as Product Development and Operations. Problem analysis and quick resolution when issues arise. Works diligently and often outside of traditional 9-5, making sure the job done. Other duties as assigned. As a growing start up, there is always something to do or help with, sometimes outside the scope of traditional marketing responsibilities, but this critical position and all others at Hunt A Killer, go above and beyond what is required or asked to create the best content and experience for our customers. QUALIFICATIONS Local to the MD/DC area. Relocation not provided. Bachelor's degrees or higher in related field required. 8-11+ years marketing experience required. Majority of that 10 years focused on digital and (product) marketing. Data analytics expert required. Previous startup company experience. In lieu of previous start up experience, experience with a small company during a period of rapid growth, in which you increased revenue by millions or other quantifiable amounts from marketing perspective. Must be a self-starter, takes initiative to get things accomplished, no matter the obstacles. Entrepreneurial spirit. Needs some flexibility in their schedule to work more than 40 hours per week Thorough understanding of key metrics and analytics. Knowing how to extract, analyze, and make decisions based on information. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Experience working with and building agency relationships.
