The Multimedia Specialist will, design and develop multimedia content to support customer objectives. This includes but is not limited to assisting in the development of training products to support customer applications, systems and products.

 

Duties include, but are not limited to:

 

    Collaboration with operators, subject matter experts, and other Command and Control Mission Systems (C2MS) technical and government staffDevelopment of relevant multimedia products to deliver computer and web-based products, in a variety of multimedia formats to support both classroom and web-based delivery to the target audienceDevelopment and integration of graphics, animation, text, and sound, into C2MS training materials, providing embedded voice-over delivery of training lectures, as requiredDevelopment of proposals for technology insertion opportunities and capabilities to better fulfill user experienceProvide rapid response training development for critical situations when requested by the Government
 

REQUIRED SKILLS:

    Experience with developing training materials in HTML5, JavaScript, XML, CSS, Adobe Flash, Dreamweaver, Adobe Creative Suite 6, Camptasia and Captivate is highly desiredAt least 3 years’ experience working with multimedia development with emphasis on graphics, illustrations, podcasts, iBooks and interactive media development and web-based deliveryMust have experience working with Adobe Creative Suite tools such as Photoshop, Flash, Illustrator, After Effects, Adobe Premiere, or experience with open source alternatives such as GIMP, Inkscape, and othersExpertise in web design best practices, including ability to implement visual designs optimization across multiple platformsExperience in image and multimedia editing to include audio recordingExperience in 3-D modeling is desiredMust exhibit strong attention to detail and communications skills, able to work well with others and deliver products that require little to no re-work.Must be comfortable working under timelines and comfortable working with multi-disciplined personnel to understand requirementsAble to move beyond comfort zone to learn new technologiesKnowledge and experience of Information Technology and/or Command & Control concepts, practices and methodologies is also desired Web Site design and styling experience is also highly desiredFamiliarity with Instructional Systems Design (IDS) models is desiredTechnical writing experience is desiredFormal courseware development experience is desired
Education Bachelors Degree in commercial art, fine art, or a related discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work experience.

Qualifications 2-5 years of related multimedia design experience.

The work is performed in an office environment

Possible short term TDYs to meet with users

Must be able to obtain a passport for OCONUS travel, if required
