Work will be primarily contractor site in Tysons but will also be performed at various federal agencies in the Washington, DC area. Current US Government security clearance preferred; ability to obtain one is required. (See below) Responsibilities Program Manager will be responsible for managing, sustaining, and growing a portfolio of general information technology (IT) management consulting engagements for various government agencies. Our team helps clients manage the complexity inherent with technology change, from requirements planning to architecture, testing to deployment, and beyond, helping to link their IT programs to organizational goals. We work with a variety of public sector customers. However, this role has an emphasis on the Department of Defense. Key responsibilities include:Lead engagement planning and budgeting; mobilize and manage engagement teams; define deliverable structure and content; facilitate buy-in of proposed solutions from top management levels at the client; direct on-time, quality delivery of work; manage engagement economics; manage engagement riskManage day to day interactions with executive clients and sponsorsDevelop and maintain contact with top decision makers at key clients; organize and lead pursuit teams; participate and lead aspects of the proposal development process; contribute to the development of proposal pricing strategiesDevelop practical solutions and methodologiesHelp rationalize and evolve IT capabilities and strategies and develop and sustain a strong business base Manage project leaders and staff in developing and executing a project portfolio for various federal clientsMaintain and help recruit an agile and highly skilled workforce, and develop leadership and technical capabilities in direct reports.Lead, manage and write proposals for work for existing and new clients and opportunities Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or related fields. Master's degree preferred10+ years of work to include managing a diverse portfolio of consulting projects for federal clients (DoD Preferred)At least 2 years of experience in leading Cloud based (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) SOA solution implementationExperience with Business Process Modeling (BPM) tools, Business rules integrationStrong knowledge of federal IT regulations and requirements such as Federal Information Technology Acquisition Reform Act (FITARA), Clinger-Cohen Act, OMB Information Technology circulars, Federal Enterprise Architecture, and federal acquisition regulationsStrong oral and written communications skillsStrong problem solving and analytical skillsProven experience in managing and growing client accounts PREFERRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:Master's degree in Information Systems, Business, or related fields.Certifications such as PMP, ITIL, and Certified Enterprise Architect (CEA)DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain one is a plusSecurity Clearance Statement:Applicants selected for this position may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
