Senior Designer, Air Force Magazine

Air Force Magazine, a monthly civilian publication focusing on the US Air Force, airpower, and national defense, is seeking a Senior Designer for print and online publications. Duties include but are not limited to: responsibility for the overall "look" of the products both print and online, preparing layouts and design solutions that communicate and inform, and working closely with the Managing Editor and Photo Editor.

The successful candidate will be a self-motivated clear communicator who is comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment. The ideal candidate will also be a detail-oriented team player and a strong multi-tasker. A four-year design degree and at least ten years of professional design experience are required. Must be proficient in InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator, and experienced with page layout, web design, and art direction. Air Force/military knowledge or experience a plus.
