Provides technical, administrative, and operational leadership to assigned projects and tasks.

 Looking for a Technical Coordinator or Senior Technical Coordinator, self-motivated, innovative, with great technical experience and project management experience, who will be part of an Engineering program that leads and executes modernization efforts for a large enterprise, multi-tenant environment covering various technologies and initiatives including VDI, Wireless, Network, Computer, Systems, Software, and more. The senior technical coordinator will work with various critical engineering projects that are on-going in the Gov't Agency Engineering Division, and will regularly interface with senior government officials that are GS-15, SES and above. The role of Sr. Technical Coordinator will be focused on providing expert technical coordination, insight, guidance and recommendations and will also provide expertise to the government customer supporting projects in these areas, may support special projects as assigned.



    Coordinate between the various internal and external JSP teams that focus on hardware, software, infrastructure prerequisites to ensure the business objective is planned, tracked, communicated, and executed between engineers and the project management teamServer as a bridge between the technical engineering staff and the project management staff to ensure the success of IT projects within the organization.Work collaboratively with areas of JSP IT Services and ancillary departments to provide successful outcomes for projects that can influence JSP customersUtilize technical, supervisory, and customer service skills dailyCoordinate hardware and software implementations for application, construction, and migration projects in the organizationFacilitate operational improvements in daily processes, staff productivity, and compliance with department policiesTrack, coordinate, and escalate IT related projects to support the growth of the organizationExhibit excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills shown through customer Manage and ensure the successful completion of multiple technical tasks in assigned program(s) Interface with government customers to capture requirements, coordinate activities, manage expectations, negotiate tasks, and solve problems.
 At this level, the position is typically responsible for managing multiple projects and tasks and supervising more than 25 employees ' both exempt and non-exempt and including two or more subordinate supervisors and managers. Technical difficulty/complexity of assigned tasks/projects may also affect level selection.


 1. Provides technical, administrative, and operational management of assigned projects, including contract and subcontractor management.

 2. Supervises assigned staff, including subordinate managers.

 3. Develops technical project plans, proposals, reports, and task order and administrative reporting.

 4. Reviews future project requirements and develops strategies for future work.

 5. May also perform high level technical services on assigned tasks.

 6. Conducts planning and provides recommendations to client on task workload.

 7. Attends customer meetings and serves as primary client liaison.

 8. Interacts with vendors, other agencies, and other client staff on behalf of the client.

 9. Coordinates development of deliverables and products.

 10. Ensures quality assurance of project deliverables.

 11. Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned.

 12. Participates in special projects as required.

Education 1. Bachelors Degree in a related business or technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience.

 2. Professional certification (PMP) preferred.

Qualifications 10-12 years of related experience, including supervisory experience.


Unique requirements: Experience in Pentagon/DoD environment required. Secret clearance required.     Must have excellent analytical, interpersonal, collaborative and communication skills gained through customer service experience. Relationship building and proactive communications skills are required.Must demonstrate project management and technical troubleshooting skills to bridge the gap between engineering and project managementMust be able to use the Microsoft product suiteMust have at least 5 years of project management experience. Must have the ability to manage and ensure the successful completion of multiple complex projects concurrently. Must have a secret clearance or aboveMust have a BA/BS degree
