This position is located in the District of Columbia Courts, Talent Acquisition Branch (TAB) of the Human Resources Division. The TAB Human Resources Specialist will recruit vacant non-judicial positions in the DC Court of Appeals, DC Superior Court and Court System. The TAB Human Resources Specialist will facilitate bilingual (Spanish) testing when required for specific positions.

The incumbent is an enthusaistic, optimistic professional who enjoys working with a diverse group of Court personnel and customers and lives the DC Courts’ values of Accountability, Excellence, Fairness, Integrity, Respect, and Transparency.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    A High School diploma plus seven (7) years of experience in Human Resources including at least one (1) year of specialized experience in talent management

    Education Substitution:

    Bachelors degree plus three (3) years experience in Human Resources, including at least one (1) year of specialized experience in talent management.

    Working knowledge of a web based applicant tracking system is required.

    Must be able to speak, interpret, read and write Spanish and English.

    Documentation of education must be submitted with your application or your application will not be considered.

    Please note that authorization for the release of your adult criminal record revealing any convictions and forfeitures, and any criminal cases currently pending before the courts is required. If you are selected for this position a criminal history records check will be conducted.

    To qualify based on education, upload copy of your college transcript or degree. The transcript must show the name of the college or university, your name, list of courses with credit hours, major(s), and grade-point average or class ranking.

    Foreign Education: Education completed outside the United States must have been evaluated by a private U.S. organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign educational credentials, commonly called a credential evaluation service or education to meet the above requirements.

    The starting salary will be a Grade 11, Step 1 ($66,510) unless you are currently in the Federal or DC Government.
