The Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR) seeks highly-qualified individuals to join our team of expert professionals in becoming a part of our challenging and rewarding Agency. The primary mission of the Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR) is to adjudicate immigration cases by fairly, expeditiously, and uniformly interpreting and administering the Nation's immigration laws. Under delegated authority from the Attorney General, EOIR conducts immigration court proceedings, appellate reviews, and administrative hearings. EOIR consists of three adjudicatory components: The Office of the Chief Immigration Judge, which is responsible for managing the Immigration Courts where Immigration Judges adjudicate individual cases; the Board of Immigration Appeals, which primarily conducts appellate reviews of these Immigration Judge decisions; and the Office of the Chief Administrative Hearing Officer, which adjudicates immigration-related employment cases.
This position is located in the Office of information Technology, Executive Office for Immigration Review, U. S. Department of Justice. Incumbent serves as the Project Management Office (PMO) Manager and is responsible for managing the PMO within the OIT. The PMO Manager manages the Systems Development Lifecycle process, and is responsible for advising, planning, coordination and administration of information technology (IT) projects for the EOIR/OIT. The incumbent is responsible for developing and implementing project management procedures, tools, templates, activities, and infrastructure. In addition, the incumbent is responsible for designing and developing project status dashboards and analysis.

Must have information technology related experience that demonstrates possession of each of the four required competencies. PROBLEM SOLVING: I identify problems; determine accuracy and relevance of information; use sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives and make recommendations. - Evaluate the current IT Project Management Office policy framework and recommends changes that will ensure alignment with the agency's mission requirements;
- Coordinating with the project management offices to transition new capabilities to operating environments;
- Serving as an IT program or project manager to analyze all IT projects in order to report IT performance to executive leadership;
- Ensure all projects and processes are proceeding according to timelines, meeting targets and expectations and create a comprehensive and forward-looking view of projects in their various cycles of planning and implementation.
- Utilize project management tools (such as ServiceNow Project and Portfolio Management (PPM)) for cost/schedule/resource tracking and analysis.
