Ensures Night Shift operation achieves and maintains the highest standard of efficient logistical services for both its internal and external customers. Safety Ensures safety best practices are followed: equipment is inspected and properly working by verifying that DVIR's are completed and repairs are made; Team Members work within safety policies and best practice; aisles are checked for product placement issues to ensure safety of Team Members; investigations on all safety related incidents are conducted and paperwork is completed timely and accurately. Coaches Team Members to follow safety procedures within safety best practices; ensures observations are completed by supervisors; Team Members receive necessary training and re-training as needed. Communicates expectations to Supervisors and hourly Team Members. Reports any and all safety related issues to the General Manager and/or trainer immediately Quality Ensures best practices regarding quality are followed: product is properly handled; monitors quality issues and reports problems with specific product lines, packaging, etc to buying departments; ensures pulling and put away best practices are being followed; monitors system to ensure merchandise is properly pulled and loaded. Ensures PAM meetings are held and Team Members have a clear understanding of customer service. Communicates expectations regarding quality to Supervisors and Team Members. Accuracy Ensures best practices regarding tagging and placement of product are followed; is accurately shipped to stores. Works with store management regarding errors or issues with shipments. Coaches Team Members on issues/errors; investigates systems issues. Proposes changes/enhancements when needed and follows up with Systems team. Communicates expectations regarding accuracy to Supervisors and Team Members. Production Works with General Manager to establish productivity goals for operations; ensures production plan is completed for the shift (daily set up); ensures results are accomplished according to plan; ensures best practices are followed. Keeps General Manager informed of results. Ensures all Team Members are properly trained and observed working in a productive manner. Coaches and assists Team Members with achieving production goals; communicates expectations to Supervisors and Team Members; ensures Team Members balance production with other goals (safety, quality, accuracy); ensures Team Members strive for continuous improvement. Teamwork Communicates and works well with all Team Members. Ensures Team Members have a work environment that supports the vision and values of the company. Ensures Team Members receive feedback regarding performance and are properly recognized. Ensures a high level of customer service; proper product placement, keeps aisles and dock clean and organized. Informs General Manager immediately when issues arise. The Operations Manager will work our newly created night shift; Thursday to Saturday - 3:00pm to 4:40am. Qualified candidates should possess strong communication and leadership skills. Candidates should also have a strong coaching skills and the ability to motivate a diverse group of team members.
