We are committed to finding and developing a dedicated and strong Human Resources Administrative Assistant for our Baltimore office. Essential Duties: Assist the Human Resources Department with carrying out various human resource programs and procedures for all employees. . Assist the Human Resources Manager with employee/personnel projects to include mailings, monthly reports, and other various HR tasks. . Participate in benefits administration to include open enrollment activities, wellness activities, change reporting and approving invoices for payment. . Participate in recruitment efforts to include new-employee orientation and new hire paperwork; administer employment processing; coordinate college career fairs. . Participate in organizational leadership and training efforts. . File EEO-1 report annually; maintain other records, reports and logs pertaining to applicant flow procedures; verify employment status. . Arrange travel and hotel accommodations. . Enhance department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; explore opportunities to add value to job accomplishments. . Maintain human resources information system records and compile reports from the database as needed. . Maintain confidential personnel files and personnel actions. . Participate in administrative staff meetings and attend other meetings and seminars. . Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment. . Help maintain employee organization charts and the employee directory. Qualifications . Associate's degree preferred. . A minimum four years previous administrative human resources support experience required. . Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; experience using ADP preferred. . Effective oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills. . Ability to maintain strict confidentiality in all aspects of job. . Attention to detail.
