The Electronics Technician role is to provide support for Navy test site operation and maintenance. Candidate will test, troubleshoot, repair and modify electronic developmental and production equipment, parts, components, and systems according to engineering instructions as well as provides support for test site operation and maintenance. 

    Perform site installation and maintenance in conjunction with engineering staff.Use of basic hand and inspection tools.Ability to read and understand drawings and schematicsExperienced in soldering of circuit board assemblies (micro and miniature sized components) along with dip through mount.Experienced in cable assembly including RF and multi-pin connectorImprove product documentation including updating and review of test and operation procedures.Organization and maintaining test site area; responsibilities include material storage and organization, maintain parts inventory and stock; equipment inspection, test, calibration and repair.Additional items as necessary.
Education Associates Degree in a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training or work experience.

Qualifications  

    3-5 years of related experience fabricating, maintaining and repairing electronic components.Comprehensive knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in the testing and modification of electronic components.Knowledge of and ability to use the related tools, equipment, and systems.DoD Secret Clearance is preferred or must be able to attain a secret clearance. Requires up to 10% travel annually.Navy expereience preferred, not required
