Transportation Administration and Support Coordinator
The George Mason University Facilities Management Department is seeking a Transportation Support Coordinator for the Fairfax, Va., campus. Responsibilities: This is a multifaceted position that includes: * Handling the administration of the universityâ€™s transportation and reservation program by working with internal customers as well as external service providers; * Assisting transportation group with providing assistance for traffic management, bus services and routes, and other routine administrative duties as assigned; and * Working with various systems by inputting data and tracking vehicle usage and charges on assigned fuel cards.
Required Qualifications: * Excellent typing, general office skills, and some bookkeeping experience; * Demonstrated ability to produce accurate and timely reports, work without close supervision, and communicate both orally and in writing; * Good customer relations skills; and * Proficient typing skills.
Preferred Qualifications: * Demonstrated clerical, customer service, and/or secretarial experience; * Pleasant phone personality is a must; and * Must be able to develop positive relationships with clients.
