This position is located in the Metabolism, Infection and Immunity Section (MINIS) of the Medical Genomics and Metabolic Genetics Branch (MGMGB), Division of Intramural Research (DIR), National Human Genome Research Institute (NHGRI). The DIR of NHGRI plans, supports, and administers intramural, collaborative, and field research into human genetic diseases and develops therapeutic protocols in its laboratories and clinics. Members of MGMGB provide patient care, perform clinical and basic research, and engage in teaching and training of future investigators, including fellows enrolled in an American Board of Medical Genetics training program.
The ideal candidate will be board certified/board eligible in Pediatric Neurology or Clinical Genetics or Allergy and Immunology, is able to use judgment in making independent clinical decisions for protocols, and who is familiar with working collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.Learn more about this agency
