ACC/A5I serves as Air Combat Command's focal point for Remotely Piloted Aircraft (RPA) and High-Altitude ISR requirements including all aspects of managing the ISR Futures, MQ-1/MQ-9 Predator/Reaper and RQ-4 Global Hawk modernization.

 

Provides military subject matter expertise to assigned programs.

 1. Provides advanced analytical and technical support to projects involving training, tactical/operational documentation, military systems design or other efforts requiring military operations expertise.

 2. Researches, identifies, and makes recommendations about resources required for task execution and completion.

 Gathers, processes, and analyzes operational data.

 3. Assists with the testing and development of new systems or updates to existing systems to meet client needs.

 4. Identifies and recommends emergent relevant technologies that may result in improvements to current processes.

 5. Writes and updates project documentation including system procedures, presentations, and training materials.

 6. Provides guidance and work leadership to less-experienced staff, and may have supervisory responsibilities.

 7. May serve as technical team or task leader.

 8. Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies and subject areas.

 9. Participates in special projects as required.

 

 

Education  

 

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university, or the combination of: Associate’s degree from an accredited university AND twelve (12) years of experience (may be the combination of active duty, government service and/or contractor time) in operations, staff or working RQ-4, AF ISR, Communications and IT systems.

 

 

Qualifications  

 

Top Secret clearance required with SCI eligibility

    Minimum three (3) years of experience on USAF MAJCOM or higher level staff (combination of active duty, government service and/or contractor)Twelve (12) years of experience (may be the combination of active duty, government service and/or contractor time) in operations, staff or working RQ-4, AF ISR, Communications and IT systemsKnowledge of Federal Budget and Resource Allocation process and procedures in support of ACC/A5IH, including RQ-4.Knowledge of the process and procedures in which ACC programs and budgets are developed, staffed and approved by Air ForceCurrent knowledge and understanding of RQ-4 and how it is employedFamiliarity with of CAM sustainment funding and processesFamiliarity developing JCIDS and QRC documents and processes
