As a member of the scrum team, the Software Quality Assurance Analyst will partner with business and technical resources to perform functional, integration, regression, and acceptance testing activities.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

  • Actively participate in the ongoing effort to fully automate regression and functionality testing
  • Analyze business and technical requirements to develop test strategies
  • Prepare test plans
  • Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
  • Prepare test data
  • Define test scenarios; develop and execute test cases
  • Design, develop, and execute automation scripts
  • Identify, document, track and report defects
  • Verify fixes
  • Create test results documentation
  • Prepare test summary reports
  • Assist in defining testing procedures and artifacts that meet organizational standards
  • Reviews and evaluates software products and systems to ensure adherence to company and customer quality standards
  • evelops software/systems testing procedures and conducts tests

  • Participates in establishing software quality standards for life cycle, documentation, development methods, testing, and maintenance
  • Develops and implements software/systems testing standards and procedures and conducts tests
  • Documents and analyzes test results, and makes recommendations to improve overall quality
  • May be responsible for testing purchased third-party software and/or services to ensure that company standards and end-user requirements are met
  • Assists with project planning activities associated with software engineering projects
  • May provide quality-related training
  • Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned
  Education Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training or work experience.

Qualifications Requirements:

  • minimum 4 years of QA technical experience
  • minimum 3 years of relevant automated testing experience
  • SQL development
  • Knowledge of AGILE software development methodologies
  • Experience in an AWS environment, with CI and DevOps practices is preferred
  • Experience with SpiraTeam (preferred) or similar defect tracking and test management tool
