DescriptionResponsibilities:The following outlines many of the specific job responsibilities of the Account Coordinator.Starting a Project* Supports project scoping and estimating: Work with Account Managers and VP of Marketing to determine scope, deliverables, timeline, resources, and costs for the project and support the development of Creative Briefs/Strategy as requested.* Works with internal creative department/system (InMotion)to ensure projects are resourced appropriately and meets key dates.* Partners with Account Managers, VP of Marketing, external agencies and printers to create initial project schedulesDuring a Project* Administration:* Maintains planning and tracking* Updates regular status reports to VP of Marketing on behalf of Account Managers* Communicate regularly with Account Managers; inform on project status, barriers to success, improvement opportunities.* Project Management:* Partners with Account Managers to manage the life of the project.* Supports internal and external kick-off meetings ensuring all stakeholders are in attendance.* Takes notes on input and works collaboratively on developing the creative brief* Develops, manages, and maintains schedules for projects* Supports development of creative presentation documents.* Provides timely communication to Account Managers and VP of Marketing regarding project timeline, barriers, dependencies, etc.* Assists in preparation and development of meeting agendas and meeting notes following each meeting.* Maintains job folder that includes all appropriate information relevant to the project.* Is responsible for proofing all projects and ensures total quality and supports the final production cycle with all resources.* Partners with Account Managers to provide feedback to the creative agencies and oversee revision process, ensuring that the changes made correspond with the feedback.* Tracks expenses and supports billing process.* Upon full training, an AC is called upon and expected to manage smaller projects without supervision.* Attends press checks when necessary.* Assists Account Managers in development of matrices, review of live name signoffs.Ongoing* Creates a continual learning attitude to support growth* Proactively contributes ideas* Seeks help/advice from manager to effectively complete work within scope with high quality standards. Make internal stakeholders aware when scope is being breached.* travel required. To Wilmington Delaware office, to agencies, and to print production vendors.#LI-BH1CB1DCRequirementsRequirements:* 3-5 years' experience in account or project management, preferably at an Ad Agency or Direct Marketing company.* Background in Financial Services and/or Retail preferred.* Basic knowledge of direct mail, printing, postal processes and solutions.* Basic knowledge of digital (email, web, social) solutions.* 4 year college degree w/business marketing focus preferred* Keen attention to detail with strong organizational skills* Excellent command of verbal and written communications* Ability to proof/edit grammar, punctuation, spelling, etc.* Problem solver* Able to multi-task and prioritize* Works well with and demonstrates respect for colleagues at all levels and consistently contribute to a positive work environment (open, friendly, and supportive attitude).* Strong interpersonal skills* Strong knowledge of the PC or Mac and the following programs: Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook* Must be a self-starter, entrepreneurial and an independent thinker#LI-BH1
