Marketing Manager - Lead Generation The Marketing Manager - Lead Generation will develop, implement, and maintain marketing strategies to meet organizational objectives regarding driving leads, conversion of leads, and ultimately meeting and exceeding revenue goals across all product lines. There will be a particular focus on strategies to drive and run local events, corporate trade shows, the use of social media, and other top of funnel activity. The Marketing Manager - Lead Gen reports to Chief Marketing Officer and partners with other marketing leaders. This role also will coordinate with other internal business groups such as with sales and product teams to build engaging messaging and positioning, events, and content that will impact lead generation and ultimately sales to achieve corporate revenue goals. Responsibilities Manage strategy and day-to-day activities of lead generation activities Develop and implement marketing plans and projects that drive lead generation from social media to events Plan and implement event strategy from large tradeshow-based events to local meet-ups in key markets Manage lead engagement to drive purchase Partner with other marketing leaders to ensure lead conversion Analyze customer research, current market conditions, and competitor information Monitor, review, report and act on all managed marketing activity and results Manage budget and deliver activity on budget and on time Report on return on investment and key performance metrics Other duties may be assigned as required Qualifications 7+ years of marketing experience, with a focus in strategies to drive lead generation, event marketing, and social media marketing preferably in B2B technology Bachelor's Degree, business, marketing, or related field Ability to manage lead activities from start to finish including brainstorm, strategy, development, execution, conversion, tracking and reporting Successful track record of lead generation strategies that feed sales pipelines and improve client retention and engagement Familiarity with full complement of strategic marketing campaigns including Web 2.0 concepts, email campaigns, lead nurturing, online culture, social media, social engagement, blogs, Google AdWords & Analytics, UTM tagging/attribution, etc. Strong project management and communication skills; ability to manage multiple projects in a fastpaced environment. Ability to solve problems creatively and diplomatically. Flexibility in focus; ability to balance between details and strategy Must be able to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment along with the ability to accept interruptions as part of the routine Proficient in HubSpot (or other marketing automation tool) Strong written, verbal, communication, and presentation skills with keen attention to detail. Ability to work as a team, move projects forward individually, and lead teams. Self-starter approach to work, with an eagerness to consistently meet and exceed objectives and willingness take on additional responsibility
