    This position requires Acquisition Workforce Level II certification in Acquisition, Technology and Logistics (AT&L) Business-Financial Management (BUS-FM). Certification prior to hiring is not essential but must be accomplished within 24 months after entry into this position, unless a Position Requirements Waiver is approved to extend the 24 months. Currently 4 years of acquisition experience in Budgeting, Financial and/or Earned Value Management is required for BUS-FM Level 2 certification. Individuals hired without experience will be placed on a waiver for remaining time in order to meet the requirements.
    This is a Financial Management Level 2 Certified position. IAW Public Law 112-81 and DoD Policy the incumbent shall comply with the requirements of DoD FM Certification program.
    Must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET clearance.
    Selectee or incumbent must be able to obtain the appropriate certification level for their position.
    Candidates must meet the physical and suitability standards both prior to and during employment in this position.

    You must have one year Specialized Experience equivalent to the GS-12 level in the Federal service (experience may have been gained in the private/military sector) giving the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position. Experience must be reflected in your resume.

    Specialized experience required for this position is:
    1. Serves as a financial analyst for financial systems that independently analyze and resolve complex systems and related application issues associated with financial management processes.
    2. Plans, coordinates and oversees major system upgrades, new releases, organizes and conducts tests of new functionality.
    3. Develops implementation schedules, test plans/scripts, communications and work tasks.


    Specifically you will be evaluated on the following competencies:
    1. Supporting the financial systems.

    2. Reconciliations and problem resolution.

    3. Conduct Training.
