This position is located in the Domestic and International Security (DIS) Division within the Department of Administration and Finance (A&F), Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC). DIS provides a wide range of security related services, such as life safety, security, continuity of operations, both in a domestic and international arena.

Although the position is advertised equivalent to GS-13, MCC uses a pay banded system to compensate employees. This position is pay band 4a which is generally equal to GS-13.

    To qualify for pay band 4a you must meet the following:

    Have at least one year of specialized experience relevant to the position duties and comparable to the MCC Pay Band 4b (GS-12) or an equivalent level which is directly related to the work of this position and which has equipped the applicant with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position. For this position, this experience is defined as: providing analyses and assessments of overseas security, security threats, and risks within an organizational risk management framework; experience with the drafting, review of, or operationalizing security policies and procedures for overseas travel or assignment; coordinating regular and ad hoc analysis and reporting; experience preparing and providing policy, procedures, briefings, reference materials and training on security programs; and supporting one or more security related functions that follows: insider threat programs, controlled unclassified information, national security information, personnel security, or physical security. Note: This experience MUST be specific and well documented within your resume or application.
