DIR, SHARED SERVICES OPS

We are seeking an experienced and talented leader for our Director of Shared Services position at our Virginia Beach, Virginia Operations. The selected candidate will effectively serve as the dedicated leader of the training team across all of operations managing all performance guarantees, both training and auditing.
Bachelor's degree in education, business, healthcare management or related field
Knowledge, skills, and abilities normally obtained through five years (5) of experience in an health insurance company.
Knowledgeable about call center operations, claims processing, metrics, workforce optimization & management.
Seven years (7) of experience in training and/or performance management (training & auditing).
Possesses good organizational, analytical, and excellent written and verbal communications skills.
Provide innovative ideas and practices to implement to improve our processes and yield optimal performance guarantees/metrics- and provide that feedback to leaders to create and implement those changes.
Good analytical skills and extremely effective communication skills, both written and oral.
Superb trainer and teacher with the unique capability to communicate in a versatile manner at all levels and possesses the people skills to be successful in this training role.
Minimum 5 years experience at a manager level managing multiple direct reports.
Responsible for devising an organizational training strategy, oversee its implementation and assess its outcomes. Identifies staff training and development, and performance management needs. Sets strategic direction for Customer Operations training and performance management, ensuring alignment and execution of all learning and performance management initiatives, including strategic intent, design, procurement, delivery and full administration of the learning and performance management functions in order to maintain a motivated and skilled workforce.
