General Dynamics IT is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Traumatic Brian Injury Clinical Practice Dissemination & Support Project Manager to join our team to support the DIVBIC contract. The position is based in Silver Spring, Maryland. This is a full time – temporary position. You will have a key role in motivating the team to deliver excellent support to our client! The dynamic individual in this role will provides technical, administrative, and operational leadership to assigned projects and tasks. Individual will coordinate the team whose mission is to develop strategies to assess health related outcomes of active duty Service members (SM) who have sustained a TBI and who are receiving care through the military health care system (MHS) by observing types of treatments being implemented, delivery points in the course of care, and the impact on concussion recovery. Develop strategies to distribute and disseminate outcome information to the TBI clinical programs at DVBIC network sites and across the HMS. Plans and participates in the identification, collection, analyses and presentation of key clinical outcomes measures. Under the guidance of the government oversight, s/he will work with regulatory bodies, and support protocol development and management. Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist with the development, implementation and management of outcome objectives, clinical metrics, and initiatives for observation of TBI outcomes across the MHS in the US and internationally and at DVBIC Network Sites.Prepare work plans, schedule and monitor project timelines, coordinate system wide metrics that strive to improve the efficacy of the care being provided throughout the clinical operations of the network.Assist in the training of site personnel.Identify and assist with the development of opportunities to collaborate with the DoD branches/VA/civilian partners. Monitor and assess qualitative measures of TBI care, clinical practice guideline usage, outcome measures.Support the Division of Clinical Affairs and DVBIC senior leadership in a consultative and advisory role on HQ initiatives, site evaluations, and assist in formulating solutions to HQ and network related issues.
- Master's Degree or higher in Healthcare Related Field required.
- 10-12 years of related experience, including supervisory experience.Four years of TBI Clinical, Research or Policy preferred. Experience in DoD/military/VA health settings preferred.Serves as a TBI subject matter expert on a number of platforms to include direct clinical training, TBI clinical education conference/training planning; public speaking, or TBI policy development.Must be a US Citizen and do not hold a dual citizenship.
