The Principal Operations Analyst supports the JS J6 DDC5I Command, Control, Communications, and Computers (C4) Assessment Division (C4AD) Assessments Branch (ASB) and provides subject matter expertise to assigned project assessments.  Specifically, they:

    Provide advanced analytical and technical support to C4/Cyber system assessment or integration projects.Research, identify, and make recommendations about resources required for C4/Cyber task execution and completion.Gather, process, and analyze system and operational utilization data.Assesses the ability of new systems or updates to existing systems to meet client needs.Identify and recommend emergent cyber relevant technologies that may result in improvements to current processes.Coordinate with client to define problem, determine data availability, report requirements, and resolve system design problems.Define military operations objectives and prepares system design specifications to meet requirements.Create logical data models based on functional requirements.Draft and update project documentation, including cyber laboratory set-up, system procedures, assessment plans, reports, presentations, and training materials.Provide guidance and work leadership to less-experienced analysts.Maintain current knowledge of relevant technologies and subject areas.Participate in special projects as required.Travel as necessary in support of assigned projects.
Education Bachelors Degree in a related technical or military discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work/military experience.

Qualifications Required Qualifications:

    8-10 years of related experience supporting military operations.Advanced knowledge of the principals, methods, processes, and applicable regulations involved in supporting military operations.Advanced knowledge of relevant technology and equipment.Specific certifications or military education/training may be required, depending on job assignment.Demonstrated experience with Service and joint computer systems, to include JTF, CCMD, and Component level knowledge.Demonstrated experience in the preparation and execution of detailed computer system analysis, including interim and final reports and presentation of analysis data.Demonstrated experience in development, test and evaluation of computer systems.TS/SCI Security Clearance
