Designs and develops information processing hardware, computer systems and electrical components.


 1. Conducts research, design, development and testing of information processing hardware such as computer chips, circuit boards, computer systems and electrical components.

 2. Analyzes hardware configuration and processing solutions.

 3. Tests hardware performance to specifications.

 4.Operations and Sustainment Support, including correction of priority discrepancies and maintenance of required security patches, continued support to the wide area motion imagery (WAMI) logistics pipeline to ensure data is updated in NVS, supporting FMV along with hardware maintenance support.


5. Provide Tier 1 & 2 Infrastructure Service Provider (ISP), Operations Support that includes system monitoring and initial response, performance investigation, identify hardware and network support requirements to motion GEOINT services program management office (PMO), operations environment system administration, and multidisciplinary interaction (MDI) support.


6. Maintain and load cryptographic devices and keys; perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair on many types of hardware and software.


7. Perform hardware and software inventories (to include definitive software libraries) and discrepancy reports.


8. Perform  hardware maintenance and licensing inventories and discrepancy reports.

Education Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline.

Qualifications 5-8 years of related hardware engineering experience.
