Support Naval Air Systems Command's Program Office (PMA-231). Performs and coordinates detailed analysis for the Interactive Electronic Technical Manual (IETM) for Foreign Military Sales (FMS) the country of Japan. Supporting the Deputy Assistant Program Manager for Logistics (DAPML) with technical manual and IETM program. 

 

Tasks shall include but are not limited to the following:

Provide oversight support for all Automated Logistics Environment (ALE) and IETM efforts, technical data conversion, validation and verification and applicable NAVAIR and Program Specific Business Rules, specifications, and communicate technical data needs. Understand an IETM environment to provide recommendations during the initial development of the Japan IETM.

Review source data from the Fleet Support Team (FST) engineers and OEM.  The    systems, processes, and tools to be proficient in as follows:

 

EXtensible Markup Language XML

S1000D V3.0

S1000D V4.1

NAVAIR Standard Interactive Viewer (NSIV)

Merlin Interactive Wiring Diagrams S/W.

NATEC QA policies

DOJ, DON, and NAVAIR S1000D business rules

NATEC QA Verification Certification

Joint Technical Data Integration (JTDI)

Joint Deficiency Reporting System (JDRS)

NATEC Technical Manual and Publication System (TMAPS)

NATEC Electronic Library Management System (ELMS)

Initiate, process and managing Technical Publications Deficiency Reports (TPDR)

 

Assist in maintaining the Foreign Distribution Requirements List.

Shall review and analyze Domestic and OEM source data (Interim Rapid Action Changes (IRACs), Interim Changes (ICs) Safety Supplements, Technical Publication Deficiency Reports (TPDRs)) for applicability to the customer country’s configuration and technical data library.

 

Support In-Process Reviews (IPRs) for new Publication/Data Modules.

Provide monthly technical data reports to include all IRACs, ICs and Technical Directives (TDs) released to the customer country

Shall review and analyze Domestic and OEM source data (Interim Rapid Action Changes (IRACs), Interim Changes (ICs) Safety Supplements,  Technical Publication Deficiency Reports (TPDRs)) for applicability to the customer country’s configuration and technical data library.

Shall generate customer country unique IRACs and ICs from approved.

Generate customer country unique TPDRs for future publication updates.

Provide monthly technical data reports to include all IRACs, ICs and Technical Directives (TDs) released to the customer country

Assist in the development of technical data SOWs and TMCRs.

Assist in maintaining the Foreign Distribution Requirements List.

Initiate, process and managing Technical Publications Deficiency Reports (TPDR).

Review IRACs and their applicability with Japan’s configuration.

 

Education Bachelors Degree in a related discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work/military experience.

Qualifications 8-10 years of related experience in logistics, technical data, IETM
