The Ford Agency is recruiting for a Membership Sales professional to work with an international association promoting the accessibility of healthy and sustainable goods on a national level.  This role will play an integral part in promoting the organization's education and certificate programs, establishing connections with new and current members, and will have the opportunity to represent the team at trade shows and other events. If you have a talent for forging professional connections and building relationships, this could be a great opportunity for you! 

Responsibilities Include:

  • Maintain relationships with current members, serving as their main point of contact regarding benefits, products, and services
  • Create new membership development programs
  • Establish a pipeline of prospective members, doing sales visits and giving product presentations
  • Work closely with the marketing and training team to coordinate sales initiatives
  • Stay updated on industry trends and ensure internal programs are fresh and competitive
  • Represent the organization at trade shows and similar events

Qualifications Include:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Previous experience with sales and/or business development, ideally in a non-profit or a trade association
  • Ability to cold-call professional contacts
  • Ability to work independently and adapt quickly
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and superior communication skills
