Statement of Work:
This position is for a SCCM Administrator. Location is Arlington, VA with opportunities to work remotely.

Task Description:

This position is for a Microsoft SCCM Administrator to support an O&M Technology project within a high availability production system on a Federal services contract. The position will involve management of both SCCM 2012 and Current Branch hierarchies, client maintenance, software distribution, and patch management.

The candidate will work closely with network, application, and server teams to support product installations, customizations, and deployments. The candidate will work with the imaging team to support development of new Windows images for Windows 7 and Windows 10. The candidate will be expected to plan out and implement major updates to the Current Branch environment as Microsoft releases new versions. The candidate must be able to gather requirements and help architect, plan and implement system solutions for a Windows platform to meet customer requirements. Off-shift coverage may be required for on-call support of systems and maintenance work in supported change windows.

The ability to write Powershell scripts and utility programs for Windows system maintenance is also a plus. Familiarity with scripting technologies such as Powershell is strongly preferred. Familiarity with creation of custom SQL queries is also preferred.

Candidate must have Federal customer experience and hold an active secret level security clearance. To be successful in this position, the candidate must also display excellent teamwork skills, written and oral communication skills, and formal documentation skills.

Work will be performed out of the client's facilities in Arlington, VA and Washington DC. Opportunities for telework may be available.

Required skills/Level of Experience:

Active Secret clearance.

Position requires 3-5 years experience with the following:
  • Management of a Microsoft SCCM infrastructure to include SCCM servers and client systems
  • Experience using SCCM to perform patch management and software distribution
  • Managing Windows systems, including Windows Server 2008, 2012 and Windows 7 and Windows 10
  • Building, configuring, and managing Microsoft Windows systems in multi-tenant enterprise environments

Position requires 1-3 years experience with the following:
  • Profiency utilizing Powershell to automate common functions
  • Experience creating SQL queries
  • Experience building Windows desktop images
