The George Mason University Antonin Scalia Law School is seeking an enthusiastic and energetic individual for a Director of Academic Administration position. Responsibilities: * Serves as the starting point for all Law School academic administration matters--including the hiring and management of adjunct faculty, preparing the academic year schedules, and supporting various faculty committees addressing curriculum and other academic matters; * Manages the day-to-day academic administration--including responding to student inquiries, organizing various student programming (such as the faculty/student workshop series, the faculty advising program, etc.), partnering with student organizations and other university departments for additional programming opportunities, and supervising one or more academic support staff; and * Assists with ongoing assessment efforts and annual reporting required by Law School accrediting or member organizations.

Required Qualifications: * J.D. is required; * Must have the ability to proactively manage and demonstrate ownership of academic matters while consulting appropriately with colleagues to ensure timely and accurate information sharing; and * Must demonstrate exceptional judgment, attention to detail, time management, and customer service skills.

Preferred Qualifications: * Prior academic or program management experience.
